Registration rules for Organizations

To register a company or an individual service provider on ServiceOrca, all service providers must follow the registration rules below. These rules help keep the platform clear, useful, accurate, and reliable for users looking for services and for professionals presenting their work.

All information submitted during registration must be real, clear, properly written, and relevant to the services actually provided. ServiceOrca is designed for presenting and finding services across different industries and locations.

ServiceOrca currently supports content in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Portuguese. The selected language must match the content entered in each field.

1. Company or Service Provider Name

The company or service provider name is a required field and must be written clearly, correctly, and truthfully.

If the service provider is a company, salon, center, studio, agency, workshop, contractor business, or brand, the real business or brand name must be used.

If the service provider is an individual professional and does not have a separate brand name, the professional’s first and last name must be used.

Allowed examples:

  • Bright Home Cleaning
  • GreenLine Landscaping
  • UrbanFix Plumbing
  • Maria Rodriguez
  • James Anderson

It is not allowed to use only generic words or service names as the company/service provider name, for example:

  • Cleaning
  • Plumber
  • Electrician
  • Builder
  • Hairdresser
  • Home Repair

The name must help users understand who the service provider is, not only what service is being provided. If the professional does not have a brand name, then instead of using generic names such as “Plumber”, “Cleaner”, “Electrician”, “Painter”, or similar names, the real first and last name must be used.

2. Duplicate Registrations

Duplicate registration of the same company, individual professional, or business is not allowed on ServiceOrca.

If the company or professional is already registered on the platform, the existing profile must be used, and new services must be added under that same profile. Creating duplicate profiles can mislead users, create confusion, and reduce the quality of the platform.

It is not allowed to:

  • register the same company more than once,
  • create multiple similar profiles using the same phone number, email address, website, or business identity,
  • present the same services under different names in order to appear more often,
  • create duplicate or artificial profiles to gain more visibility in search results,
  • create separate profiles for the same business location unless they represent clearly different legal entities or branches.

3. Logo and Main Profile Image

The logo or main profile image must be high-quality, clear, and relevant to the company or service provider being presented.

If the company has an official logo, it is recommended to use it. A logo helps users recognize the service provider more easily and increases the credibility of the profile.

It is not allowed to:

  • use low-quality, blurry, stretched, or badly cropped images,
  • use another company’s logo, trademark, or copyrighted brand material without permission,
  • use misleading images that are not related to the service provider,
  • use overly promotional, visually noisy images with too much text,
  • use images that contain phone numbers, links, social media handles, QR codes, or advertising calls,
  • use offensive, inappropriate, or irrelevant visuals.

Rules for using personal photos:

  • A personal photo may be used when the service is directly related to the professional’s personal presence, expertise, identity, or appearance. For example: beauty services, personal training, consulting, coaching, photography, medical services, wellness services, legal services, and similar categories.
  • A personal photo is not allowed in service types where the main presentation should be the work, equipment, result, vehicle, team, storefront, or company brand. For example: plumbing services, electrical services, construction, moving services, appliance repair, cleaning services, landscaping, and similar service types.

ServiceOrca may reject or request replacement of an image that does not match the nature of the service provider, appears misleading, or reduces the quality of the profile.

4. Address, Location, and Service Area

Address, location, and service area information is important because ServiceOrca helps users find services based on location and nearby availability.

If the service is provided at a specific business location, the real address must be entered. If the service is provided at the customer’s location or does not have a fixed public address, the provider must specify the city, area, region, or service coverage area where the service is actually available.

It is not allowed to:

  • enter a false, incomplete, or incorrect address,
  • select a city, region, or country where the service is not actually provided,
  • use a popular or central address only to gain better visibility in search results,
  • claim service availability in locations where the provider does not operate,
  • mislead users about the real service area.

For mobile or on-site services, the service area should reflect the real locations where the provider can accept customers.

5. Phone Number and Contact Details

A phone number is required when applicable because users looking for a service must be able to contact the service provider easily.

ServiceOrca has dedicated fields for contact details, so contact information must be entered only in the appropriate sections.

It is not allowed to place the following in the company or service description:

  • phone numbers,
  • email addresses,
  • website links,
  • social media links or handles,
  • WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram, Messenger, or other contact details,
  • QR codes or external contact instructions,
  • promotional calls to contact outside the designated fields.

Contact details must be entered only in the dedicated fields, where they can be displayed properly and consistently.

6. Email Address

Adding an email address is recommended. Many users prefer to contact service providers in writing instead of calling, especially when the request is related to pricing, project details, quotes, availability, or order conditions.

The email address must be active, accessible, and belong to the service provider or an authorized representative.

7. Website and Online Profiles

If a website or online profile is added, it must belong to the service provider and must be relevant to the listed business or services.

It is not allowed to:

  • add unrelated websites,
  • add misleading landing pages,
  • add websites that represent another business without permission,
  • add spam, affiliate, or low-quality redirect links,
  • add links that lead to unrelated products, adult content, illegal services, or unsafe pages.

8. Working Hours

Adding working hours is recommended because it helps users understand when the provider is available and reduces calls or messages outside working time.

It is recommended to specify:

  • working days,
  • opening and closing hours,
  • days off,
  • whether service is available by appointment,
  • whether emergency, same-day, or after-hours service is available.

Working hours must reflect the provider’s real availability.

9. Adding Services

Each service on ServiceOrca must be added separately and presented as a specific service. It is not allowed to create one service page and list many unrelated services inside it if those services should be presented separately.

The service title must be:

  • specific,
  • properly written,
  • clear,
  • without unnecessary promotional words,
  • relevant to the actual service being provided.

Good examples:

  • Bathroom Remodeling
  • Residential Plumbing Repair
  • Deep Cleaning Services
  • Personal Fitness Training
  • Web Design Services
  • Wedding Photography

Bad examples:

  • Best Service
  • Call Now
  • We Do Everything
  • Cheap Prices
  • Plumber Electrician Cleaning Renovation Moving

The service title should describe the actual service, not act as an advertisement.

10. Adding the Same Service More Than Once

It is not allowed to add the same service more than once, even if the title or description is slightly changed.

For example, it is not allowed to add separate services with the same meaning, such as:

  • Plumbing Services
  • Plumbing Repair
  • Plumber Near Me
  • Emergency Plumber

If the service is the same, it must be presented on one page, while details can be included in the description or selected through the relevant filters and attributes.

11. Service Description

The service description must be informative, useful, and truthful. It should help users understand what service is provided, what work is included, who the service is for, and under what conditions it is performed.

The description must contain enough meaningful information to clearly explain the service. Short, unclear, copied, or purely promotional texts may be rejected.

The description may include:

  • what work is included in the service,
  • when the service may be needed,
  • what materials, equipment, tools, or methods are used,
  • the service area, if relevant,
  • the work process or stages,
  • whether estimates, quotes, inspections, or consultations are available,
  • whether the service is residential, commercial, remote, on-site, or mobile,
  • specific features or limitations of the service.

It is not allowed in the description to:

  • place contact details,
  • use hashtags,
  • add a large list of words or keywords,
  • make misleading or exaggerated claims,
  • list services that are not actually provided,
  • copy low-quality, irrelevant, or unauthorized text from other websites,
  • use too many capital letters, symbols, emojis, or advertising signs,
  • write only phrases such as “call us”, “contact us for details”, “we do everything”, or other non-informative text.

12. Language Consistency

The selected language on ServiceOrca must match the content entered in that field. ServiceOrca supports English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Portuguese.

If English is selected, the content must be in English. If Spanish is selected, the content must be in Spanish. If German is selected, the content must be in German. If French is selected, the content must be in French. If Italian is selected, the content must be in Italian. If Portuguese is selected, the content must be in Portuguese.

It is not allowed to mix different languages in the same field, for example:

  • writing Spanish content in an English field,
  • writing English content in a German field,
  • mixing several languages in one description without a clear reason,
  • using machine-generated or poorly translated text that is hard to understand,
  • using transliteration instead of the correct written language.

Language consistency is important for users, search quality, and proper visibility in search engines.

13. Keywords and Search-Oriented Text

Words and phrases related to the service may be used in the service description, but they must appear naturally and meaningfully within the text. Keywords must be part of the actual content and must not be added artificially.

It is allowed to:

  • mention the main types of services in natural sentences,
  • describe the areas of work,
  • include relevant service terms that users commonly understand and search for,
  • mention locations only when the provider truly serves those areas.

Keyword stuffing is not allowed. This means it is forbidden to:

  • add a large list of keywords without meaningful context,
  • repeat the same word or phrase many times to gain better search visibility,
  • add a chain of cities, services, neighborhoods, or keywords at the end of the text,
  • add keywords that are not related to the specific service,
  • use hidden, unnatural, or spam-like text for search manipulation.

Bad example:

Plumber near me, plumber cheap, emergency plumber, plumber city, pipe repair, water leak, bathroom, kitchen, best plumber, fast plumber, local plumber, affordable plumber.

Good example:

We provide residential plumbing repair services, including pipe leak detection, faucet replacement, toilet repair, drain issues, and bathroom or kitchen plumbing maintenance. The service is available for homeowners and tenants in the listed service area.

14. Hashtags, Advertising Symbols, and Excessive Formatting

ServiceOrca is a service search platform, not a social network, so hashtags are not allowed in service descriptions.

It is not allowed to use:

  • hashtags such as #plumber, #cleaning, #renovation, #fitness,
  • too many emojis,
  • excessive symbols such as !!!, ***, >>>,
  • the entire text in capital letters,
  • overly promotional phrases that do not provide real information,
  • unnecessary decorative formatting that makes the text harder to read.

15. Misleading or Incorrect Information

All information submitted during registration must be truthful and accurate.

It is not allowed to:

  • list services that are not actually provided,
  • use another company’s name, logo, photos, trademarks, or brand identity without permission,
  • present fake experience, licenses, certificates, awards, reviews, qualifications, or guarantees,
  • enter an incorrect address, location, or service area,
  • mention prices, discounts, terms, or offers that are not actually available,
  • mislead users about the type, quality, availability, location, legal status, or conditions of the service,
  • claim to be licensed, insured, certified, accredited, or authorized unless this is true and can be verified if requested.

Registrations with misleading information may be rejected, edited, removed, or restricted.

16. Prices, Quotes, and Offers

If a price is mentioned in the service, it must be real and as clear as possible. If the price depends on the scope of work, materials, location, urgency, project size, travel distance, or other conditions, this must be stated in the description.

Recommended wording:

  • The price depends on the scope of work.
  • The final cost is provided after assessment or consultation.
  • Materials, travel, or additional work may be calculated separately.
  • Quotes are provided after reviewing the project details.

It is not allowed to:

  • mention a price that does not reflect the real conditions,
  • use an unrealistically low price only to attract users,
  • advertise a discount or offer that is not actually available,
  • hide mandatory fees, extra charges, or important conditions,
  • mislead users about what is included in the price.

17. Images for Services

Service images must represent the specific service, work process, result, specialist, equipment, team, vehicle, storefront, or real environment related to the service.

Allowed images include:

  • photos of completed work,
  • photos of the work process,
  • photos showing the result of the service,
  • quality photos of equipment, tools, vehicles, or workspace,
  • photos of the specialist or team in service types where this is appropriate,
  • professional brand visuals that clearly relate to the service.

It is not allowed to:

  • use images unrelated to the service,
  • use fake, misleading, stolen, or another company’s images,
  • upload overly promotional banners,
  • upload images that contain phone numbers, website addresses, social media links, QR codes, or contact instructions,
  • upload low-quality, dark, blurry, stretched, or unprofessional images,
  • use personal photos in service types where they do not represent the nature of the service,
  • use images that violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or platform rules.

18. Service Review and Category Assignment

After a service is submitted, the ServiceOrca team reviews the information and assigns the service to the most relevant category based on the service title, description, and provided details.

To help the service appear in the correct category, the service provider must describe the service clearly and accurately. The description should explain what the service includes, what type of work is performed, and which users it is intended for.

If the submitted information is unclear, too general, misleading, or does not properly explain the service, ServiceOrca may request changes before approving the registration.

19. Product Sales and Non-Service Activities

ServiceOrca is intended for services. Profiles that mainly represent product sales, online shops, retail stores, kiosks, food outlets, marketplaces, or buy/sell activity without a clear service may not be accepted.

A profile may be accepted if it presents a real service, for example:

  • installation of equipment,
  • repair or maintenance,
  • custom manufacturing,
  • assembly or mounting,
  • professional consulting or support,
  • rental with service-based support,
  • delivery, setup, or on-site assistance.

Registrations may be rejected if they mainly relate to:

  • product sales,
  • retail or wholesale listings,
  • shop presentation without a service,
  • food sales without a service component,
  • pure buy/sell activity,
  • businesses unrelated to services.

20. Grammar and Text Quality

Texts published on ServiceOrca must be properly written, clear, and easy for users to read.

A registration may be rejected if:

  • the text contains many spelling or grammar mistakes,
  • the text consists of meaningless or incomplete sentences,
  • the text does not explain the service clearly,
  • mixed language, transliteration, or hard-to-understand wording is used,
  • the description is too short or not informative,
  • the content appears automatically generated without proper editing,
  • the content is copied, duplicated, or not specific to the provider.

21. Prohibited Content

It is prohibited to publish content on ServiceOrca that violates applicable laws, infringes the rights of third parties, misleads users, or may harm users or the platform.

It is not allowed to publish:

  • fake, deceptive, or fraudulent services,
  • illegal services,
  • services that require a license or authorization if the provider does not legally hold it,
  • other people’s or companies’ data without permission,
  • offensive, discriminatory, hateful, or inappropriate content,
  • content that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, or intellectual property rights,
  • adult, unsafe, violent, exploitative, or harmful content,
  • spam, scams, phishing, or suspicious offers,
  • content that may damage the trust of the platform or its users.

22. Legal, Licensed, and Regulated Services

Some services may require licenses, permits, certifications, insurance, professional authorization, or compliance with local laws. Service providers are responsible for ensuring that they are legally allowed to offer their services in the countries, states, cities, or regions where they operate.

Service providers must not:

  • claim to be licensed, certified, insured, or authorized if this is not true,
  • offer regulated services without the required legal permissions,
  • misrepresent professional qualifications,
  • hide important legal limitations or conditions,
  • use another person’s license, certificate, or authorization as their own.

ServiceOrca may request additional clarification or reject listings that appear to involve regulated services without clear and accurate information.

23. Registration Approval or Rejection

The ServiceOrca team reviews registrations and may approve, reject, edit, remove, or request changes if the submitted information does not comply with the platform rules.

A registration may be rejected if:

  • the information is incomplete,
  • the information is misleading or inaccurate,
  • the images do not comply with the rules,
  • the description is low-quality, unclear, copied, or too short,
  • there is a duplicate registration,
  • the service is duplicated,
  • language consistency is not respected,
  • the description contains contact details, hashtags, or keyword stuffing,
  • the service appears to be illegal, unsafe, fraudulent, or not suitable for the platform,
  • the provider does not appear to have the required permission for regulated services.

A notification about registration approval, rejection, or required changes may be sent by email or displayed in the provider account.

24. Request for Changes

If the registration does not comply with the rules, ServiceOrca may request changes. The service provider must correct the listed issues and resubmit the information for review.

ServiceOrca may also edit, hide, reject, or remove content that violates the rules, reduces the quality of the page, misleads users, or may create legal, safety, or trust concerns.

25. Maintaining Platform Quality

The goal of ServiceOrca is to create a clear, useful, and high-quality service discovery platform where users can easily find the services they need, and service providers can present their work properly.

We expect every service provider to complete their profile responsibly by providing real, useful, and properly written information. Well-presented profiles are more trustworthy for users and perform better in search.

All registrations that do not comply with the rules above may be rejected, hidden, edited, restricted, or not displayed on ServiceOrca.
