ServiceOrca, LLC ("ServiceOrca," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to visitors, registered users, Service Providers, and any other person who accesses or uses the ServiceOrca platform at serviceorca.com, including related pages, features, tools, and services.

ServiceOrca is a service discovery and digital presence platform. It allows service providers to create and manage business pages, service pages, branch/location profiles, gallery images, public contact information, and related profile content. ServiceOrca may also offer paid platform features, including permanent account-limit increases, Platform Credits, and Sponsored Results or Sponsored Placement features.

ServiceOrca does not process payments between Users and Service Providers for services offered by Service Providers. Any communication, agreement, transaction, payment, or dispute between a User and a Service Provider takes place outside ServiceOrca.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.


1. WHO WE ARE

ServiceOrca, LLC is a limited liability company operating a service discovery and digital presence platform accessible at serviceorca.com.

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, ServiceOrca, LLC is generally the data controller in respect of personal information processed through the Platform, unless otherwise stated.

  • Gallery images, logos, photographs, videos, and other profile media;
  • Licenses, certifications, qualifications, or professional information where voluntarily provided;
  • Information used to create and manage Business Pages, Service Pages, Branch/Location Profiles, and other provider content;
  • Information related to Platform Credits, Limit Increases, Sponsored Results, Sponsored Placement features, or other paid Platform Features.

For users who submit reviews or ratings, we may collect:

  • The content of the review or rating;
  • The associated Service Provider, Service Page, or Business Page;
  • Your name or display name, where applicable;
  • Information necessary to detect abuse, fraud, manipulation, or fake reviews.

2.2 Publicly Visible Information

Some information submitted by Service Providers is intended to be public. Publicly visible information may include:

  • Business or professional name;
  • Business descriptions and service descriptions;
  • Service categories and service details;
  • Business contact information provided for public display;
  • Branch/location information and service areas;
  • Gallery images, logos, photographs, and other uploaded media;
  • Business hours, pricing information, and availability where provided;
  • Reviews, ratings, and related public content;
  • Sponsored Results or Sponsored Placement content, where applicable.

Service Providers are responsible for ensuring that any information they publish on the Platform is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for public display.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect technical and usage information, including:

  • IP address;
  • Browser type and version;
  • Device type, operating system, and device identifiers where available;
  • Pages visited and actions taken on the Platform;
  • Search queries, filters, categories, locations, and pages viewed;
  • Access times, referring URLs, and general usage patterns;
  • Log data used for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and platform performance.

We may use this information to operate the Platform, maintain security, prevent abuse, improve search and discovery, detect fake activity, measure Platform performance, and improve user experience.

ServiceOrca may use location information to help users discover relevant Service Providers by location.

You may provide location information in different ways, including by manually selecting a location, entering an address or area, or allowing your browser or device to share approximate location information. Location sharing is optional, and you can usually manage location permissions through your browser or device settings.

Service Providers may publish branch addresses, business locations, service areas, or other location-related information as part of their public profile.

2.5 Third-Party Authentication

If you sign in using Google, Apple, or another supported third-party authentication provider, we may receive basic account information from that provider, such as:

  • Name;
  • Email address;
  • Profile identifier;
  • Authentication status.

We do not receive your password for those third-party services and do not access your private Google, Apple, or other third-party account content. Your use of third-party authentication is also subject to the privacy policies and terms of those providers.

2.6 Payment and Platform Credit Information

When you purchase Platform Credits, Limit Increases, Sponsored Results, Sponsored Placement features, or other paid Platform Features, payments may be processed by Stripe, Inc. or another authorized third-party payment processor.

ServiceOrca does not collect, store, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or raw payment card data.

We may retain transaction and account records related to paid Platform Features, including:

  • Payment amount, currency, date, and status;
  • Invoice, receipt, refund, dispute, chargeback, or failed payment information;
  • The Platform Credits purchased or used;
  • Your Credit Balance;
  • Limit Increases purchased or activated;
  • Sponsored Results or Sponsored Placement purchases, budgets, duration, placement status, and related settings where applicable;
  • Processor identifiers, transaction references, and limited payment metadata;
  • Tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, compliance, and customer-support records.

Payment processing is handled by the applicable payment processor. Stripe’s handling of payment data is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy and terms.

2.7 Sponsored Results and Placement Information

If ServiceOrca offers Sponsored Results or Sponsored Placement features, we may collect and process information necessary to provide, manage, review, display, measure, and support those features.

This may include:

  • The Business Page, Service Page, or profile content selected for sponsorship;
  • Selected categories, locations, keywords, service areas, or placement settings;
  • Budget, duration, credit usage, activation status, and billing records;
  • Moderation status, approval status, rejection reasons, or policy-related notes;
  • Performance-related information such as impressions, clicks, views, or interactions with Sponsored Results where applicable;
  • Information used to detect fake traffic, artificial engagement, fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

Sponsored Results are display placements only. Performance-related information is used for platform operation, reporting, fraud prevention, billing, product improvement, and support. ServiceOrca does not guarantee leads, customers, sales, bookings, calls, messages, clicks, views, reviews, engagement, rankings, or business outcomes.


3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

3.1 Platform Functionality

We use your information to operate and provide the Platform, including:

  • Creating and managing Accounts;
  • Creating, displaying, and managing Business Pages, Service Pages, Branch/Location Profiles, gallery images, and related provider content;
  • Allowing users to search, browse, filter, view, and compare Service Providers;
  • Displaying public contact information provided by Service Providers;
  • Supporting location-based service discovery;
  • Processing reviews, ratings, and related user-generated content;
  • Providing Included Free Limits to Service Providers;
  • Processing Platform Credits, Credit Balances, Limit Increases, Sponsored Results, Sponsored Placement features, and other paid Platform Features;
  • Providing invoices, receipts, transaction confirmations, refunds, dispute handling, and account support;
  • Maintaining security, preventing fraud, detecting abuse, and enforcing our Terms.

3.2 Sponsored Results and Paid Platform Features

Where Sponsored Results, Sponsored Placement features, Platform Credits, Limit Increases, or other paid Platform Features are available, we may use information to:

  • Process purchases and payments through authorized payment processors;
  • Maintain Credit Balances and transaction histories;
  • Apply permanent Limit Increases to eligible Service Provider Accounts;
  • Display Sponsored Results or Sponsored Placement content where applicable;
  • Measure impressions, clicks, views, interactions, and other platform metrics where applicable;
  • Detect fake traffic, artificial engagement, suspicious activity, fraud, or abuse;
  • Review, approve, reject, suspend, remove, or limit Sponsored Results or paid Platform Features where required by our Terms, policies, payment processor requirements, or applicable law.

3.3 Communications

We may use your information to send:

  • Account-related notifications;
  • Security alerts;
  • Service updates and administrative messages;
  • Review, rating, or profile notifications;
  • Payment, receipt, refund, dispute, Platform Credit, Limit Increase, or Sponsored Result confirmations;

  • Marketing communications about ServiceOrca features and updates, where permitted by law and subject to your opt-out rights.

3.4 Analytics and Platform Improvement

We may use information to understand and improve how the Platform works, including:

  • Improving provider tools and account-management features;
  • Monitoring traffic, errors, uptime, and technical performance;

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests;

4.1 Public Information

Information that Service Providers publish on public Business Pages, Service Pages, Branch/Location Profiles, gallery images, or Sponsored Results may be visible to visitors, users, search engines, and other third parties.

Reviews, ratings, and related public content may also be visible on the Platform, subject to our moderation and Platform rules.

4.2 Third-Party Service Providers

We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate, secure, improve, and support the Platform, including:

  • Payment processors, such as Stripe, for payment processing, fraud prevention, disputes, refunds, and transaction records;
  • Cloud hosting providers, such as DigitalOcean or similar providers, for secure hosting and infrastructure;
  • Email service providers, for account notifications, support messages, receipts, and marketing communications where permitted;
  • Authentication providers, such as Google or Apple, when you choose to sign in through those services;

These service providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to ServiceOrca and are expected to protect information in accordance with applicable law and contractual obligations.

4.3 Payment Processors

When you make a payment, your payment information is processed by the applicable payment processor. ServiceOrca does not store your full card number or CVV.

We may share transaction-related information with payment processors as necessary to process payments, prevent fraud, handle refunds, respond to disputes or chargebacks, comply with card-network rules, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

4.4 What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties;
  • We do not rent your personal information to third parties;
  • We do not share your personal information with data brokers;
  • We do not sell leads;
  • We do not sell payment card data;
  • We do not process payments between Users and Service Providers for Third-Party Services;
  • We do not use personal information to sell fake traffic, artificial engagement, fake reviews, or guaranteed business outcomes.

4.5 Legal Disclosure

We may disclose information where required or permitted by law, court order, subpoena, governmental authority, regulatory request, payment processor requirement, card-network rule, or legal process.

We may also disclose information where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, security, or integrity of ServiceOrca, Users, Service Providers, payment processors, third parties, or the public.

4.6 Business Transfers

If ServiceOrca is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or transfer of all or part of its business, personal information may be transferred or disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.

You cannot opt out of essential service communications, such as account, security, payment, receipt, refund, dispute, Platform Credit, Limit Increase, Sponsored Result, or legal notices.


8. DATA RETENTION

8.1 Account Data

We retain account information for as long as your Account remains active or as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and maintain legitimate business records.

If you request deletion of your Account, we will delete or anonymize personal information where required by law, subject to applicable exceptions.

8.2 Public Content

Public Business Pages, Service Pages, Branch/Location Profiles, images, reviews, ratings, and related content may remain visible until removed by the relevant account holder or by ServiceOrca in accordance with our Terms and Platform rules.

Some public content, such as reviews, may be anonymized rather than deleted where necessary to preserve platform integrity, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or maintain accurate records.

8.3 Payment and Transaction Records

Records related to Platform Credits, Credit Balances, Limit Increases, Sponsored Results, Sponsored Placement features, invoices, receipts, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, and accounting may be retained for as long as required or permitted by applicable law, accounting rules, tax obligations, payment processor requirements, card-network rules, fraud prevention, and dispute handling.

8.4 Security and Log Data

Security logs, IP addresses, fraud-prevention records, abuse-detection records, and technical logs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
