GEM Health Care Services (GEM HCS) was founded in 1994 by Gaye Moffett, a registered nurse with a vision to provide compassionate, high-quality care. Over the past 30 years, GEM HCS has grown to become one of Canada’s largest independent health care agencies, proudly supporting individuals, families, and organizations with a wide range of professional health care services.

To expand its reach, GEM opened a second location in Newmarket, led by Sue Bauer, who brings more than 15 years of expertise and is a past recipient of the Newmarket Business Excellence Award: Professional Services Business of the Year.
